ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Leah – a portrait artist based in Bristol, UK. I specialise in creating timeless, hand-drawn portraits that celebrate the people and pets we love most.
I studied sculpture for five years, where I developed a deep appreciation for form, structure, and the subtle ways emotion lives in physical expression. That training continues to shape my drawings today – each piece is thoughtfully composed, with careful attention to character and presence.
My journey began with dog portraits, drawing the soulful bond between pets and their people. Over time, that naturally evolved into capturing families, couples, and individuals – moments of love, memory, and connection rendered in pencil and pastel.
I believe art should feel personal. It should make you pause, smile, and sometimes even tear up. That’s the power of a portrait – it doesn’t just show what someone looked like, it captures how they’re remembered.
